Spring Creek Reservoir lies immediately west of Taylor Park Reservoir amidst 10,000 and 11,000 foot peaks. It is fed by Spring Creek, which begins near Reno Divide and empties into the Taylor River. The lake supports rainbow and brown trout, and the fishing is deemed as fair by Forest Service standards. The elevation of the lake is 9,915 feet.

Facilities: There are no facilities available at Spring Creek Reservoir. Mosca Campground is located near by, and is available for a nightly fee.

Reservations: No reservations are accepted for this campground.

Best Time To Visit: Spring Creek Reservoir's peak season is late summer.

Fees: No fees are charged.

Directions: To get to Spring Creek Reservoir from Gunnison: From Taylor Canyon Road travel to Harmels Resort on Taylor River Road and follow Spring Creek Road, Forest Road 744, ten miles upstream to a fork in the road. Follow the left side of the fork to the campground and reservoir a short distance away (well marked).
