| Facilities: There are no facilities available along Snowshoe Trail. Restrooms, drinking water, picnic areas, and over 150 campsites are available at the Golden Gate Canyon State Park. Reservations: Reservations are accepted for the campground located nearby Snowshoe Trail. Best Time To Visit: Snowshoe Trail is open year-round. Fees: There are a variety of fees that can be incurred when entering this state area, from a daily walking pass all the way to an annual vehicle pass. Visitors should contact this State Recreation Area to find the plan best for them. Accessibility: This trail is not accessible. Rules: Since rules may vary depending on which park guests choose to visit, please check with the Park Manager for any other rules that may apply. Directions: To get to Snowshoe Trail from: Idaho Springs: Drive east on I-70, take the Golden exit, travel to Golden. Take Highway 93 north from Golden one mile to Golden Gate Canyon Road. Turn left and continue for 13 miles to the park. A trail map can be obtained from the visitor center.Boulder: Drive south on CO State Highway 72, turn left onto CO State Highway 119.
