Rosa Trail is a 3,460 ft. dirt trail circles Rosa Campground, overlooking the lake and marina.
This 15,000 surface-acre reservoir extends for 35 miles south into New Mexico. Visitors can fish for record-size northern pike or catfish in open waters without crowds. Gather family and friends and enjoy Navajo Lake from the comfort of a houseboat. Explore three major rivers and sail or water-ski on open waters.
Take advantage of the opportunity to see wildlife such as foxes, deer, grouse and turkeys in the midst of one of Colorado's most historic and scenic areas. See interesting artifacts of the Anasazi Indians at the Visitor Center in a setting rich in local history.

Facilities: Restrooms, drinking water, picnic areas, and over 100+ campsites are provided at Rosa Trail.

Reservations: Reservations are accepted for campsites nearby Rosa Trail.

Best Time To Visit: Rosa Trail is open year round.

Fees: There are a variety of fees that can be occurred when entering this state area, from a daily walking pass all the way to an annual vehicle pass. Please contact this State Recreation Area to find the plan best for you.

Accessibility: Rosa Trail is not accessible.

Rules: Since rules may vary depending on which park you choose to visit, please check with the Park Manager for any rules that may apply.

Directions: To get to Rosa Trail from Pagosa Springs: Take U.S. 160 west from Pagosa Springs for 17 miles, then turn southwest onto Colorado 151 for 18 miles to Arboles. Turn left again onto County Road 982 and drive two miles to the lake.
