Rosa Sites, located within the Navajo State Park, provides 33 individual camping sites, 27 of which are for your trailer/RV. These 27 sites are full-hook-ups. The remaining six sites are designated for primitive tent camping only.
This 15,000 surface-acre reservoir extends for 35 miles south into New Mexico. Visitors can fish for record-size northern pike or catfish in open waters without crowds. Gather your family and friends and enjoy Navajo Lake from the comfort of a houseboat. Explore three major rivers and sail or water-ski on open waters.
Take advantage of the opportunity to see wildlife such as foxes, deer, grouse and turkeys in the midst of one of Colorado's most historic and scenic areas. See interesting artifacts of the Anasazi Indians at the Visitor Center in a setting rich in local history.

Facilities: Restrooms, drinking water, and picnic areas are provided at Rosa Sites

Reservations: Reservations are accepted for campsites at Rosa Sites.

Best Time To Visit: Rosa Sites is open year round.

Fees: There are a variety of fees that can be occurred when entering this state area, from a daily walking pass all the way to an annual vehicle pass. Please contact this State Recreation Area to find the plan best for you.

Accessibility: Campsites 103, 105, 128, and 130 are designated for disabled persons.

Rules: Length of Stay - There is a 28 day maximum stay allowed per Colorado park during any 45 day period. One camping unit with up to 6 people is allowed per campsite. A violation of this regulation may result in the visitor being required to purchase an additional campsite (if available), or the reservation may be terminated and the appropriate fees refunded. The allowable combinations are one passenger vehicle and two tents; or one motorized vehicle towing a camping trailer and one tent (if space allows). If space permits, one additional passenger vehicle and/or motorcycle may be parked at a campsite.

No Show Policy - If a customer does not occupy their site within 24 hours of their check in time and have not notified the park, ALL FEES ARE NONREFUNDABLE and the site will be made available for resale.
Minors - A parent or guardian must accompany youths under 18 years of age. The person whose name appears on the reservation is responsible for the condition of the site. The Park Manager may approve the stay of a youth.
Since rules may vary depending on which park you choose to visit, please check with the Park Manager for any other rules that may apply.

Directions: To get to Rosa Sites from:

Pagosa Springs: Take U.S. 160 west from Pagosa Springs for 17 miles, then turn southwest onto Colorado 151 for 18 miles to Arboles. Turn left again onto County Road 982 and drive two miles to the lake.
Durango take US 160 east, turn southwest onto CO state Highway 151 for 18 miles to Arboles. Turn left again onto county road 982 and drive two miles to the lake.
