| Facilities: Restrooms and picnic areas can be found at any one of the five campsites in Rincon Campground. Reservations: Reservations are accepted at Rincon Campground from early April through late September. For the remainder of the year, the park uses the "first-come, first-serve" rule. Best Time To Visit: Rincon Campground is open year round. Fees: There are a variety of fees that can be occurred when entering this state area, from a daily walking pass all the way to an annual vehicle pass. Please contact this State Recreation Area to find the plan best for you. Accessibility: Camping site #4 is designated for disabled persons only. Rules: Since rules may vary depending on which park you choose to visit, please check with the Park Manager for any rules that may apply. Directions: To get to Rincon Campground from Leadville & Canon City: Rincon is off of Highway 50 about eight miles east of Salida. It is located at mile marker 231 between the towns of Swissvale and Howard. The exit is located on the north side on a very curvy section of the highway. |
