Ridgway's great outdoors provides views of the towering Sneffels Range. Located 12 miles north of Ouray, Ridgway's sandy swim beach, beach house and full-service marina make it a top choice for water-sports enthusiasts. Boating, scuba diving, water-skiing, windsurfing and swimming are some of the offerings at the park. Picnicking and camping are great ways to spend your time.

Facilities: Restrooms, drinking water, fire rings, grills, and over 280 campsites are all provided at Ridgway State Park.

Reservations: Reservations are accepted at Ridgway Reservoir.

Best Time To Visit: Ridgway Reservoir is open year round.

Fees: There are a variety of fees that can be occurred when entering this state area, from a daily walking pass all the way to an annual vehicle pass. Please contact this State Recreation Area to find the plan best for you.

Accessibility: Ridgway State Park is known as one of the nation's most accessible recreation areas for people with disabilities.

Rules: Since rules may vary depending on which park you choose to visit, please check with the Park Manager for any rules that may apply.

Directions: To get to Ridgway Reservoir from Montrose. Take U.S. 550 south of Montrose for 22 miles to the park entrance.
