Rampart Range Reservoir

Rampart Range Reservoir is a50-surface-acre lake is backed up behind the 230 foot high and 3400 foot long dam completed in 1969. The Reservoir is the City of Colorado Springs' storage for 13 billion gallons of domestic water. Because the Reservoir is domestic water supply, it is subject to considerable draw down during dry years.
The Reservoir is stocked with fish by the Colorado Division of Wildlife. A valid Colorado fishing license is required as well as following the State of Colorado fishing regulations.
