Best Time To Visit: Prairie Ridge Campground is open year round. Fees: There are a variety of fees that can be occurred when entering this state area, from a daily walking pass all the way to an annual vehicle pass. Please contact this State Park to find the plan best for your needs. Accessibility: Campsites 32 and 71 have been designated for disabled persons. Rules: Since rules may vary depending on which park guests choose to visit, please check with the Park Manager for any rules that may apply. Directions: To get to Prairie Ridge Campground from Canon City: Take I-25 to Pueblo, then U.S. 50 west, for four miles. Turn south on Pueblo Boulevard and go four miles to Thatcher Avenue. Turn west and drive six miles to the park. Reservations are a must on holiday weekends and recommended any summer weekend. |
