| Facilities: Restrooms, drinking water, picnic tables, and fire grills are provided at Prairie Point Campground. Best Time To Visit: Prairie Point Campground is open from May through November. Fees: An overnight camping fee will apply. Accessibility: This campground has one handicapped accessible site, however, the toilet is not handicapped accessible. Rules: Pets and Animals Pets must be restrained or on a leash at all times while in developed recreation areas. Pets (except guide dogs) are not allowed in swimming areas or sanitary facilities. Saddle or pack animals are only allowed where authorized by posted instructions. This campground is located within the White River National Forest; forest regulations apply.Directions: To get to Prairie Point Campground from: Vail drive east on US-6 to Silverthorne. From Silverthorne, travel 14 miles north on Highway 9. Turn left onto FDR 30.
