Accessibility: Unknown Rules: This campground is located within the Rio Grande National Forest; forest regulations apply. Directions: To get to Poso Campground from Alamosa: drive north on Colorado-17, turn left onto Colorado-285, travel to Saguache. From Saguache, Colorado, take US Route 285 south 15.6 miles to La Garita and County Route G signs. Turn right at signs onto Route G and go 6.3 miles to "Y" intersection (County Route 41G). Bear right onto Route 41G and go 10.2 miles to another "Y" intersection (Forest Route 675). Bear left onto Route 675 (single lane with turnouts) and go 1.7 miles to campground sign. Turn left at sign into campground. NOTE: After 3.5 miles, County Route 41G becomes dirt and narrows to single-lane with turnouts after entering the National Forest. | |
