| Ponderosa Loop Trail, a 0.75 mile long trail, is located within the Eleven Mile State Park. It starts and finishes at the Coyote Ridge Parking Lot.Eleven Mile State Park is known by the locals as a great fishing hole. Rainbow, brown and cutthroat trout, kokanee salmon, northern pike, small-mouth bass and carp are all found within the waters of this 3,400 surface-acre reservoir. Waterfront camping, scenic vistas, un-crowded boating and ideal wind conditions for sailing and windsurfing make Eleven Mile a best bet for all visitors. The park is open year-round, offering spectacular Rocky Mountain sunsets and plenty of room to breathe. |
