The Pelican Campground, located within the Jackson Lake State Park, provides 33 individual campsites for your trailer/RV. These sites have electrical hook-ups. There are another four individual campsites for tents.
Once known primarily for the hunting around its banks, Jackson Lake State Park has become one of Colorado's finest outdoor recreation and water sports sites. A wide variety of activities such as boating, waterskiing, fishing and swimming can all be enjoyed on the 2,700 surface-acre lake.
The park is also known for its warm-water, with sandy bottom and shore. Jackson Lake also has 260 campsites and 60 picnic sites for your enjoyment. During the winter the park offers camping, wildlife observation, photography, ice fishing, ice skating and hunting.

Facilities: Restrooms, drinking water, and picnic areas are provided at Pelican Campground.

Reservations: Reservations are accepted at Pelican Campground.

Best Time To Visit: Pelican Campground is open year round.

Fees: There are a variety of fees that can be occurred when entering this state area, from a daily walking pass all the way to an annual vehicle pass. Please contact this State Recreation Area to find the plan best for you.

Accessibility: Campsites at this campground are not accessible.

Rules: Since rules may vary depending on which park you choose to visit, please check with the Park Manager for any other rules that may apply.

Directions: To get to Pelican Campground from Fort Morgan: Go west from Fort Morgan and take Colorado Highway 39 north for 7.25 miles through Goodrich. Then go west on Y5 (follow the paved road) for 2.5 miles.
