Pastorius Reservoir State Wildlife Area a small irrigation impoundment is located southeast of Durango. The reservoir is managed as both a warm- and cold-water fishery, with largemouth and smallmouth bass, bluegill, and trout. This reservoir is stocked periodically with fingerling and catchable-sized rainbow trout.

Facilities: A restrooms is provided on the east end.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted at Pastorius Reservoir State Wildlife Area.

Best Time To Visit: Pastorius Reservoir State Wildlife Area is open year round.

Fees: There are no fees to enter a State Wildlife Refuge. There are fees to obtain fishing and hunting licenses. Please contact the Denver office for further information.

Accessibility: This area has limited handicap accessibility.

Rules: Users of wildlife areas are reminded to check current hunting, fishing, and land use regulations when planning to use an area for any purpose.

Bass less than 15 inches in length must be returned to the water immediately.
No overnight camping. No open fires.
Boating by hand-propelled & electric motors is permitted.
No vehicles on dam structure.

Directions: To get to Pastorius Reservoir State Wildlife Area from Durango, travel seven miles southeast on U.S. 160 to Highway 172, then two miles south to County Road 302, and then 0.5 miles west to the lake.
