| Facilities: Restrooms and drinking water are provided. Other facilities can be found within the State Park. Reservations: Reservations are accepted. Best Time To Visit: The park is open year round. Water systems are shut down between October 1st and May 1st each year. Fees: There are a variety of fees that can be occurred when entering this state area, from a daily walking pass all the way to an annual vehicle pass. Please contact this State Recreation Area to find the plan best for you. Accessibility: There are three wheelchair accessible campsites (North Shore site #39 and Rocky Ridge sites #1 & 2). The Rocky Ridge sites are also electrical and located adjacent to the wheelchair accessible Camper Services building. Wheelchair accessible vault toilets are also located next to North Shore site #39 and in the amphitheater parking lot. Rules: Since rules may vary depending on which park you choose to visit, please check with the Park Manager for any rules that may apply. Directions: 38 miles west of Colorado Springs on U.S. 24 to one mile west of the town of Lake George, then turn left (south) on County Road 90 and drive for six miles to County Road 92. Continue south on 92 for five miles to the park. |
