Best Time To Visit: Navajo State Park is open year round. Fees: There are a variety of fees that can be occurred when entering this state area, from a daily walking pass all the way to an annual vehicle pass. Please contact this State Recreation Area to find the plan best for you. Accessibility: This area is not handicap accessible. Rules: Since rules may vary depending on which park you choose to visit, please check with the Park Manager for any other rules that may apply. Directions: To reach Navajo State Park from Pagosa Springs, travel on U.S. Highway 160 west for 17 miles, then turn southwest onto Colorado Highway 151 for 18 miles to Arboles. Turn left again onto County Road 982 and drive two miles to the lake. To reach Navajo State Park from Durango, travel east on U.S. Highway 160, then turn southwest onto Colorado Highway 151 for 18 miles to Arboles.
