| The Mizel Center for Arts and Culture offers programs and events that span the cultural spectrum. Exhibitions, concerts, films, author appearances and theatrical performances are joined by annual events that include the Denver Jewish Film Festival (presented in partnership with the Denver Film Society) and the Leah Cohen Festival of Books and Authors.Each year, the Mizel Center presents critically acclaimed interdisciplinary programming. Through exhibitions, concerts, films, theatre and panel discussions, each project explores the ways in which the arts and culture have been used to address social and historical issues.The Mizel Center offers pottery classes for adults, and our Art and Theatre Academies are committed to offering the highest quality education in the creative arts for young artists. In addition, the critically acclaimed Denver Children's Theatre performs for 10,000 school children annually. |
