| Midland Trail is located within the Eleven Mile State Park. It starts along the Aspen loop Trail, and then circles the campground. It ends along the Ponderosa Loop Trail, which will take you back to the Coyote Ridge Campground.Eleven Mile State Park is known by the locals as a great fishing hole. Rainbow, brown and cutthroat trout, kokanee salmon, northern pike, small-mouth bass and carp are all found within the waters of this 3,400 surface-acre reservoir. Waterfront camping, scenic vistas, un-crowded boating and ideal wind conditions for sailing and windsurfing make Eleven Mile a best bet for all visitors. The park is open year-round, offering spectacular Rocky Mountain sunsets and plenty of room to breathe. |
