Meeker Pasture State Wildlife Area is one of four separate wildlife areas which are utilized extensively in the White River Valley. This smaller area straddles the White River offering a 0.25 mile stretch of access for fishing. There are no camping or other facilities here.

Facilities: There are no facilities available at Meeker Pasture State Wildlife Area.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted to use Meeker Pasture State Wildlife Area.

Best Time To Visit: Meeker Pasture State Wildlife Area is open year round.

Fees: There are no fees to enter this area, but hunting/fishing permits will require a fee.

Accessibility: This area is not handicap accessible.

Rules: Users of wildlife areas are reminded to check current hunting, fishing, and land use regulations when planning to use an area for any purpose.

Directions: To reach Meeker Pasture State Wildlife Area from Steamboat Springs, travel west on U.S. Highway 40 to Colorado Highway 13. Take Colorado State Highway 13 to County Road 8. Turn east on County Road 8 and travel eight more miles to the property.
