The Marvine Campground is located within the boundaries of the White River National Forest at an elevation of 8,200 feet. This campground offers 18 individual campsites situated in a grove of pine with mountain views. Stream and fly-fishing are both nearby. Hiking and horse trails are in the area. Maximum RV/Trailer length is 28 feet.


Facilities: Restrooms, drinking water, picnic tables, and fire grills are provided at Marvine Campground.

Best Time To Visit: Marvine Campground is open June through November.

Fees: An overnight camping fee is charged.

Accessibility: This campground is accessible for disabled persons. Please contact the Campground Host for further information.

Rules: This campground is located within the White River National Forest; forest regulations apply.

Pets and Animals Pets must be restrained or on a leash at all times while in developed recreation areas. Pets (except guide dogs) are not allowed in swimming areas or sanitary facilities. Saddle or pack animals are only allowed where authorized by posted instructions.

Directions: To reach Marvine Campground from Glenwood Springs, travel west on Interstate 70 to State Highway 13. Take State Highway 13 to Meeker. From Meeker, travel east on Highway 13 from Meeker for 1 mile, turning right onto County Road 8. Travel 28 miles on County Road 8, then turn right onto Marvine Creek Road ( County Road 12). Follow this road for 7 miles to the campground.

To reach Marvine Campground from Steamboat Springs, travel west on U.S. Highway 40 to State Highway 13. Take State Highway 13 to County Road 8. Travel 28 miles on County Road 8, then turn right onto Marvine Creek Road (County Road 12). Follow this road for 7 miles to the campground.
