Longwater Trail #619
Courtesy of EatStayPlay.com
It may be difficult to locate the Longwater Trail #619 trailhead because this is a popular four-wheel driving area and there are several trails in the nearby vicinity. The beginning of the trail follows the main road for the first mile until it becomes a well-defined hiking trail marked by trail signs. After reaching the Platte River, the trail again follows four-wheel drive routes.
This is a moderately difficult 3.5-mile trail, with elevations ranging from 7,000 to 8,100.
