The Little Mattie Campground is located within the boundaries of the White River National Forest at an elevation of 7,800 feet. This campground offers 20 individual campsites situated on the Ruedi Reservoir. Hiking trails are 0.5 miles from this campsite. Recreational opportunities include boating, fishing, sailing, windsurfing, and hiking. Maximum RV/Trailer length is 22 feet.

Facilities: Restrooms, drinking water, picnic tables, and fire grills are provided at Little Mattie Campground.

Reservations: Reservations are not accepted at Little Mattie Campground.

Best Time To Visit: Little Mattie Campground is open from May through September.

Fees: An overnight camping fee is charged.

Accessibility: This area is not handicap accessible.

Rules: This campground is located within the White River National Forest; forest regulations apply.

Pets must be restrained or on a leash at all times while in developed recreation areas.

Directions: To reach Little Mattie Campground from Glenwood Springs, travel south on State Highway 82 to Basalt. From Basalt, travel 16 miles east up Fryingpan Road, County Road 104. About 1 mile past the Ruedi Reservoir dam, turn right into the camping area.
