Lily Pond has numerous undeveloped campsites with additional space available at nearby Mix Lake Campground. Lily Pond is lightly fished with 40% of the shoreline rated easy to fish. It is subject to occasional winterkill.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted to use Lily Pond.

Accessibility: This lake is handicapped-accessible.

Rules: This is bear country; practice safe food storage techniques. Do not cut, carve, or damage any live trees.

Directions: To reach Lily Pond from Alamosa: Travel south on State Highway 17 to State Highway 15. Take State Highway 15 to Forest Development Road 255 to Forest Development Road 250. Take Forest Development Road 250 to Platoro. Access the pond from Platoro on Forest Roads 250 and 256.
