The Kerr Lake Road heads north from the summit of Stunner Pass. The road follows the side of a ridge, passing through stands of spruce/fir. After reaching the top of the ridge, the road turns east and comes into an alpine meadow. From this point, Telluride Mountain can be seen to the northeast.

At about the 2 mile mark, Lily Pond is just north of the road. The road continues to the east, briefly passing between alpine meadows and conifer stands. There is excellent fishing (with restrictions) at Kerr Lake with good campsites available.
