Directions: To reach Island Lake Campground from Montrose, travel north on US Highway 550 to State Highway 92. Take State Highway 92 east to State Highway 65. Take State Highway 65 to Cedaredge. From Cedaredge go north on State Highway 65 for 15 miles to Forest Route 116. Go southwest on Forest Route 116 for 2 miles to the campground.
