Directions: To reach Irvine State Wildlife Area from Steamboat Springs, travel east on U.S. Highway 40 to State Highway 14. Take State Highway 14 to Walden. From Walden, travel five miles west on County Road 12W to County Road 18, then west 4.5 miles to County Road 5, then 0.5 miles south to County Road 22, and then 2.5 miles southwest to the DOW sign. The access road is the driveway to the ranch, and the parking area is in the rancher's yard. |
