Indian Run State Wildlife Area

Indian Run State Wildlife Area provides an access point and parking area for big-game hunters traveling to the Beaver Flat Tops region of Routt National Forest. This receives a considerable amount of use during big-game hunting seasons.

Facilities: Vault toilets are provided at the Indian Run State Wildlife Area parking area. Primitive overnight camping is permitted.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted to use Indian Run State Wildlife Area.

Best Time To Visit: Indian Run State Wildlife Area is open year-round.

Fees: There are no fees to enter this area, but hunting/fishing permits will require a fee.

Accessibility: This area is not handicap accessible.

Rules: Unknown

Directions: To reach Indian Run State Wildlife Area from Steamboat Springs, travel west on US Highway 40 to Craig. From Craig go one mile west on US 40 to highway 13, then travel ten miles south to Hamilton. Turn east on Highway 317 to County Road 67, and then six miles south to the property.
