Reservations: Reservations for Howbert Point Campground can be made by calling 1-877-444-677. Best Time To Visit: Howbert Point Campground is open year-round. Water systems are shut down between October 1st and May 1st each year. Fees: An overnight camping fee is charged. Accessibility: This campground is accessible for disabled persons. Please contact Park Ranger for further information. Rules: Since rules may vary depending on which park guests choose to visit, please check with the Park Manager for any other rules that may apply. Directions: To reach Howbert Point Campground from Cripple Creek, travel north on State Highway 67 to US Highway 24. Take US Highway 24 west, then turn left (south) on County Road 90 and drive for six miles to County Road 92. Continue south on 92 for five miles to the park. |
