Rules: This campground is located within the White River National Forest; forest regulations apply. Pets must be restrained or on a leash at all times while in developed recreation areasDirections: To reach Hornsilver Campground from Vail, travel west on Interstate 70 approximately 5 miles to exit 171, the Minturn exit. Turn right (south) from the off-ramp onto US Highway 24. Follow US Highway 24 south approximately 10.5 miles from Interstate 70 to the turnoff on the left (east) side if the road. A picnic area is located directly across US Highway 24 from the campground. To reach Hornsilver Campground from Leadville, travel north on U.S. Highway 24 to to the campground which is located on the east side in the road. |
