Haviland Lake fishing site is a scenic area located about one mile off US Highway 550. With the Hermosa Cliffs in the background, this is a picturesque area.
Fishing can be good and row boating is permissible, although Forebay is a more secluded fishing site than Haviland Lake. There is a good selection of camping sites, some located near the lakeshore. Ponderosa pines provide shade.

Facilities: Haviland Lake and Chris Park Campgrounds are located nearby Haviland Lake.

Reservations: Reservations are not required to use Haviland Lake.

Best Time To Visit: Haviland Lake is open year-round.
