Green River Campground is located within five miles of the Dinosaur Quarry. There are 88 individual camping sites available for tents or trailers/RV's. This campground is open during the winter, but the water is turned off.

Facilities: Drinking water, picnic tables, grills, and restrooms are provided at Green River Campground.

Reservations: Green River Campground is on a first come, first served basis.

Best Time To Visit: Green River Campground is typically open April to October.

Fees: An admission fee is charged to gain entrance into the park. An overnight camping fee will apply. When water is not available, a camping fee is not charged.

Accessibility: Unknown

Rules: Limit of stay is 14 days.

Vehicles or trailers in excess of 35 feet prohibited.
Water is turned off in the fall to prevent freeze up and is turned on in the spring.
No food, beverage or other supplies available within the park.

Steamboat Springs: Start out going west on US-40, watch for well marked signs. Green River Campground is located 5 miles east of Dinosaur Quarry.
Vernal, UT: Travel east on US-40, watch for well marked signs. Green River Campground is located 5 miles east of Dinosaur Quarry.
