Directions: To reach Heaton Bay Campground from Vail: Travel 27 miles east on Interstate 70 to the second Frisco exit (#203). Turn right at the exit, then turn left onto the Dillon Dam Road. Go northeast for 1 mile to the campground located on the right (east) side of the road. To reach Heaton Bay Campground from Breckenridge: Travel north on State Highway 19 to Frisco. In Frisco turn right onto the Dillon Dam Road.
