Fulford Cave Trail
Courtesy of EatStayPlay.com
Fulford Cave Trail through an aspen, spruce/fir forest leads up to the main entrance of Fulford Cave, the destination of many users. The trail has a number of switchbacks to accommodate the rise in elevation. It is important for users not to short-cut these switchbacks to maintain the fragile slope vegetation. There are good opportunities to view wildlife such as mule deer in the morning and evening hours. At the top portion of the trail, there are scenic views of Yeoman Park.
This 0.7 mile trail has a beginning elevation of 9,440 feet and an ending elevation of 9,880 feet. The trail difficulty has been rated as "moderate".
