Each left their unique mark here. Relive frontier history by visiting many of Colorado's high-country ranches and farmsteads (some dating back to the 1840's), trading posts, and stage stops. Or pursue adventure in nearby Hardscrabble Canyon, the white-capped Sangre de Cristos mountains, or the sharp mesas and hogbacks that flank the Arkansas River.This Scenic Byway measures 103 miles long, and will take at least 3.5 hours to complete. |
