| Facilities: Restrooms and picnic areas can be found at Five Points Campground in this State Recreation Area. Reservations: Reservations are accepted from early April through late September at Five Points Campground. For the remainder of the year, the park uses the "first-come, first-serve" rule. Best Time To Visit: Five Points Campground is open year-round. Fees: There are a variety of fees that can be incurred when entering this state area, from a daily walking pass all the way to an annual vehicle pass. Visitors should contact this State Recreation Area to find the plan best for them. Accessibility: Camping site #10 is designated for disabled persons only. Rules: Since rules may vary depending on which park guests choose to visit, please check with the Park Manager for any other rules that may apply. Directions: To get to Five Points Campground from Leadville: Take US-285 to US-50, turn left. Five Points campground is located off US Highway 50 at mile marker 260 between the towns of Canon City and Cotopaxi. The road has a major acceleration/deceleration lane and is well marked with signs on the highway. |
