Elk Run Campground, located within the Sylvan Lake State Park, provides campers with 34 individual campsites for trailers/RV's. These sites do NOT have any hook-ups.
One of western Colorado's best kept secrets, Sylvan Lake State Park is a scenic park open year-round for campers, picnickers, hikers, photographers and those who just want to relax in this alpine atmosphere.
Surrounded by the White River National Forest and nestled in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, Sylvan Lake offers a unique setting for visitors. There's a campground right next to a small, high-mountain lake for small-boat and off-shore fishing. It's a great spot for picnicking, hiking and outdoor photography at the foot of beautiful, wooded mountains.
