| Facilities: Restrooms, picnic tables, and fire rings are provided at Eleven Mile State Park. Visitors may choose from a variety of campsites at Eleven Mile's 349 site facility. Reservations: Reservations are accepted at Eleven Mile State Park. Best Time To Visit: Eleven Mile State Park is open year-round. Water systems are shut down between October 1st and May 1st each year. Fees: There are a variety of fees that can be incurred when entering this state area, from a daily walking pass all the way to an annual vehicle pass. Visitors should contact this State Recreation Area to find the plan best for them. Accessibility: There are three wheelchair accessible campsites (North Shore site #39 and Rocky Ridge sites #1 & 2). The Rocky Ridge sites are also electrical and located adjacent to the wheelchair accessible Camper Services building. Wheelchair accessible vault toilets are also located next to North Shore site #39 and in the amphitheater parking lot. Rules: Since rules may vary depending on which park guests choose to visit, please check with the Park Manager for any other rules that may apply. Directions: To get to Eleven Mile State Park from Cripple Creek: Travel east on CO-67, go straight onto US-24. Eleven Mile State Park is 38 miles west of Colorado Springs on US 24 to one mile west of the town of Lake George, then turn left (south) on County Road 90 and drive for six miles to County Road 92. Continue south on 92 for five miles to the park. |
