Echo Park Campground is located within 40 miles of the headquarters for the Dinosaur National Monument. There are a total of 21 individual camping sites here, all designated for tents. This campground is closed during the winter. During the rainy season, the road to this campground may be impassable. RV's and trailers are not recommended.

Facilities: Drinking water and restrooms are provided at Echo Park Campground.

Reservations: Echo Park Campground does not accept reservations.

Best Time To Visit: Echo Park Campground is closed for the winter. It may close during the rainy season as well.

Fees: An admission fee is charged to gain entrance into the park. An overnight camping fee will apply.

Accessibility: This campground has one site that is designated for disabled persons.

Rules: Access is dependent upon weather, the last 13 miles of road are unpaved and impassable when wet. RVs and trailers are not recommended.

Steamboat Springs, travel east on US-40. This campground is located 38 miles north of headquarters for the Dinosaur National Monument.
Vernal, travel east on US-40 to Steamboat Springs. From Steamboat Springs drive east on US-40. This campground is located 38 miles north of headquarters for the Dinosaur National Monument.
