Devil Creek State Wildlife Area

Devil Creek State Wildlife Area is a prime area for Merriam's turkeys and mule deer. Hunting of deer, elk & bear can be experienced. Rabbit, Abert's squirrel, dove, turkey, blue grouse, & band-tailed pigeons provide sport for small game hunting.
Vegetation is comprised of pine-oakbrush and mountain browse. This area can be described as sloping to the southeast with level valleys. Devil Creek traverses the property & has riparian vegetation of willows & cottonwoods.
