| Facilities: There are two fee campgrounds that provide at Dan Noble State Wildlife Area drinking water, restrooms, and fire rings. Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted at Dan Noble State Wildlife Area. Best Time To Visit: Dan Noble State Wildlife Area is open year-round. Fees: There are no fees to enter a State Wildlife Refuge, however, if visitors wish to camp overnight, there will be a fee accessed. There are fees to obtain fishing and hunting licenses. Please contact the Denver office for further information. Accessibility: This area has limited handicap accessibility. Rules: Users of wildlife areas are reminded to check current hunting, fishing, and land use regulations when planning to use an area for any purpose. General land use regulations apply to the area. Camping restricted to designated areas. Discharging of firearms or bows prohibited except when hunting. Waterskiing prohibited from 6pm to 10am. Waterskiing and jet skiing prohibited except in designated areas. Vehicles are restricted to designated roads & parking areas. Directions: To get to Dan Noble State Wildlife Area from Telluride: Start out on CO-145, towards Norwood. From Norwood, go 1.5 miles east on Highway 145 to Forest Service Road 610 (Dolores-Norwood Road), then 13 miles south to County Road L 40, then 2.5 miles west to the reservoir. |
