This is bear country; practice safe food storage techniques.Directions: To get to Cross Creek Campground from Alamosa: Take US-160 To South Fork. From South Fork, at the intersection of State Route 149 and US Route 160, take Route 160 west 1.4 miles to Beaver Creek Road sign (Forest Route 20). Turn left onto Beaver Creek Road and go 6.4 miles to campground sign. Turn left at sign into campground. From Pagosa Springs: Travel north on US-160 to South Fork. From South Fork, at intersection of State Route 149 and US Route 160, take Route 160 west 1.4 miles to Beaver Creek Road sign (Forest Route 20). Turn left onto Beaver Creek Road and go 6.4 miles to campground sign.
