Comstock Campground is in the Rock Creek Drainage 18 miles southwest of Monte Vista. The South Fork of Rock Creek provides fishing. Big game hunting is also possible in this area. Hiking trails include: Alamosa River to Rock Creek Trail 703, North Fork Rock Creek Trail 704 and South Fork Rock Creek Trail 702.
Maneuvering space for trailers is limited, and the maximum size for RV's is 30'.
