Rules: Users of wildlife areas are reminded to check current hunting, fishing, and land use regulations when planning to use an area for any purpose. Directions: To get to Coke Oven State Wildlife Area from Glenwood Springs: Go east on Highway 82 to Basalt. From Basalt, go 30 miles east on USFS Road 105, (Fryingpan River Road) to property. Property is not signed; it is the first meadow after the road turns north. Look for the coke ovens on the south side of the meadow. |
