Best Time To Visit: Blacktail Creek Campgroundis open late May through mid-October. Fees: An overnight camping fee is charged. Accessibility: This area is not handicap accessible. Rules: Pets must be restrained or on a leash at all times while in developed recreation areas. Directions: To reach Blacktail Creek Campground from Steamboat Springs, travel south on State Highway 131 to Yampa. From Yampa, travel south on State Highway 131 approximately 11 miles to State Highway 134. Go east on State Highway 134 approximately 14 miles to Blacktail Creek Campground, on the right.
