| Facilities: Barr Lake has three picnic areas with tables and grills. Several sheltered tables are located in the south parking lot and boat ramp areas. Water is available at each picnic area. Restrooms are also provided. Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted to visit Barr Lake State Park. Best Time To Visit: Barr Lake State Park is open year-round. Fees: There are a variety of fees that can be occurred when entering this state area, from a daily walking pass all the way to an annual vehicle pass. Please contact this State Recreation Area to find the plan best for you. Accessibility: One specially designed hunting blind is available for hunters with disabilities. The Nature Center is also accessible. Rules: There are a variety of rules to consider when visiting a Colorado State Park. Please call the Park Manager for more information. Directions: To get to Barr Lake State Park from Denver: Take I-76 northeast from Denver, exit on Bromley Lane. Go east to Picadilly Road, then south to the park entrance. |
