| Facilities: Restrooms and drinking water are not provided at Aspen Loop Trail, but provided within the State Park. There are also 300 individual campsites located within this State Park. Reservations: Reservations are needed or accepted to use Aspen Loop Trail. Best Time To Visit: Aspen Loop Trail is open year-round. Water systems are shut down between October 1st and May 1st each year. Fees: There are a variety of fees that can be incurred when entering this state area, from a daily walking pass all the way to an annual vehicle pass. Accessibility: This trail is not accessible. Wheelchair accessible vault toilets are located next to North Shore site #39 and in the amphitheater parking lot. Rules: Unknown Directions: To get to Aspen Loop trail From Colorado Springs: Drive 38 miles west of Colorado Springs on U.S. 24 to one mile west of the town of Lake George, then turn left (south) on County Road 90 and drive for six miles to County Road 92.
