Aspen Campground is located within the boundaries of the Medicine Bow/Routt National Forest. Walton Lake Campground provides 7 campsites, with a maximum spur length of 22 feet. The elevation is 8,920 feet.

Facilities: Restrooms and a seasonal water system are provided at Aspen Campground.

Reservations: Reservations are not accepted at Aspen Campground.

Best Time To Visit: Aspen Campground is recommended from June through September.

Fees: An overnight camping fee will apply.

Accessibility: The Summit Lake Campground is not accessible to the physically challenged.

Rules: Pets must be restrained or on a leash at all times while in developed recreation areas.

This campground is located within the Routt National Forest; forest regulations apply.

Directions: To get to Aspen Campground from Fort Collins: Start out on CO-14, towards Walden. From Walden, head east on Highway 14 for 22 miles to Gould. Take County Road 21 (Forest Road 740) for 1 mile to the campground. Follow the signs.
