| Facilities: All 95 camping sites at Arkansas Point Campground are provided with covered picnic tables, drinking water, and fire rings. Restrooms are close by. Reservations: Lake Pueblo's campgrounds fill to capacity nearly every weekend between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Reservations are a must on holiday weekends and recommended any summer weekend. Best Time To Visit: Arkansas Point Campground is open year-round. Fees: There are a variety of fees that can be occurred when entering this state area, from a daily walking pass all the way to an annual vehicle pass. Visitors should contact this State Park to find the plan best for them. Accessibility: Campsites 13, 31, 51, and 85 are designated for disabled persons. Rules: Since rules may vary depending on which park you choose to visit, please check with the Park Manager for any other rules that may apply. Directions: To get to Arkansas Point Campground from Canyon City: Take I-25 to Pueblo, then US 50 west, for four miles. Turn south on Pueblo Boulevard and go four miles to Thatcher Avenue. Turn west and drive six miles to the park. |
