Agnes Vaille Trail #1443 is short and considered relatively easy for most hikers. This is a very scenic trail, a camera is a must. It ends at Agnes Vaille Falls, a small waterfall that cascades from a rocky shelf below Mt. Princeton (14,197 feet).
This is an easy .5-mile trail with elevations ranging from 8,720 to 9,000 feet.

Facilities: There are no facilities available at Agnes Vaille Trail.

Reservations: Reservations are not required to hike Agnes Vaille Trail #1443.

Best Time To Visit: Agnes Vaille Trail #1443 is open summer through early fall.

Fees: A parking fee may be charged.

Accessibility: This area is not handicap accessible.

Directions: To get to Agnes Vaille Trail From Salida: Start out going north on US285, travel to Nathrop. From Nathrop, (Highway 285), travel west on County Road 162 from approximately 6 miles. The trailhead is located on the north side of County Road 162 just across from Chalk Lake Campground.
