The 7th large lake in Kiowa County is Adobe Creek Reservoir, more commonly known as "Blue Lake". The land surrounding the lake is primarily private. Adobe Creek Reservoir offers greater isolation than most other lakes in the region. Adobe Creek Reservoir is located 15 miles south of the town of Haswell in the southwestern part of Kiowa County. Activities on this 5,000 surface area lake include water skiing, boating, and fishing.
Fish found at the creek include walleye, saugeye, crappie, largemouth bass, channel catfish, northern pike, white bass, bluegill, wiper and tiger muskie.
