Adobe Creek Reservoir State Wildlife Area is located in Kiowa County at the elevation of 4,128 feet. It contains over 5,147 acres of grasslands and ponds. Coldwater stream fishing, wildlife viewing, and dove/waterfowl hunting are popular here.

Facilities: Restrooms are available at Adobe Creek Reservoir State Wildlife Area.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted at Pagosa Springs Adobe Creek Reservoir State Wildlife Area - the backcountry campgrounds are first come, first served.

Best Time To Visit: Adobe Creek Reservoir State Wildlife Area is open year-round.

Fees: There are no fees to enter a State Wildlife Refuge. There are fees to obtain fishing and hunting licenses. Please contact the Denver office for further information.

Accessibility: Unknown

Rules: Users of wildlife areas are reminded to check current hunting, fishing, trapping and land use regulations when planning to use an area for any purpose.

Directions: To get to Adobe Creek Reservoir State Wildlife Area from Pagosa Springs: Start out on US-160, turn left onto CO-112. Turn left on US-285 to Fairplay. From Fairplay, go 15 miles south on U.S. 285 or 5.5 miles north of Antero Junction on Highway 285.
